Carnoustie Beach Rugby is all about the teams that enter and we’d like to give a big high five to the pupils of Lathallan School who are representing The Bill McLaren Foundation. CBR caught up with the team to find out a bit more about them.

Who is your team Lothario? Andrew Burt. Interestingly Andrew is also the team gentleman. Andrew must be a real catch for all you ladies out there. Watch out Andrew you may not get out of Carnoustie alive!
Who is most likely to fall asleep on a night out? James Lockhart – CBR hope your team mates leave the veet cream hair remover at home!!
Who is most likely to get sent off? John McKay. John is always at it!
Who is your top pint guzzler? Kenneth Dandie.
Best time for guzzling a pint? 6 o’clock – we’re not sure if this is am or pm but we’ll record Kenneth’s time on the day!
Top tip for tournament top tryscorer? Michael Jamieson. Michael is the silent assassin!
Team gentleman? Andrew Burt. Ladies look out!
Unusual team fact? The team motto is “scoring tries and pulling 5’s!” However, they might have said “scoring tries and eating pies!”
