The countdown has begun!!! Producers from the angus farmers market are excited to be involved in the very first Carnoustie Beach Rugby Tournament. This event will be a first in the market’s history as they have never set up their stalls at the beach before.
Organisers are really looking forward to showcasing the fantastic produce available at the market and the tournament participants and visitors will be in for a real treat. To give you a little taster of our foods we will be “sparking up the BBQ” with Highland beef buffalo, game and seafood plus a real wood fired pizza oven with freshly made pizzas using local produce. Cakes and cheesecakes, quiches and scotch eggs are among the other delicious foods available so you can be sure to enjoy eating “Al fresco!”

The angus farmers market has monthly regular spots in the High Street, Montrose on the first Saturday of the month and indoors in the Strathmore Hall, Forfar on the second Saturday.
